The Pencil Cases
Central to operation here at the Pencil Case Project, is what actually goes into them. Each pencil case is specially packed with the utmost care and attention to what resources the schools we have partnered with need the most. We are also in a position where we are able to ocasionally give some additional extra shared donations to the classroom, like special rubbers, highlighters and notepads. Following feedback from our partners, we have made strides to make our pencil cases as sustainable as possible by using non-plastic alternatives such as wooden rulers and fabric pencil cases instead of plastic.
How Do we use your donations?
The Pencil Case Project prides itself on complete transparency on where the money and donations are being used. We are extremely grateful for any donations and usually people donate to us in 1 of 2 ways - a generous financial contribution or by donating physical stationary at a local collection point. Once we receive your donation we then take it and place it in our distribution hub. From there our dedicated team will sort through all the donations and pack the pencil cases. They are then shipped to our partner schools which are in 2 countries, where the children can then receive and start using the pencil cases. We have a 100% transparency guarantee and as such you are able to enquire and see where exactly your donation has gone and even see where on the map your donation is.
